Thanks for the reply. I have a microscope but no luck so far. Perhaps the moss I have been examining has been to dry.

Thanks, will check them out.

I also see a lot of cheap microscopes that are aimed at children on Amazon etc. Would they be good enough?

COVID-19 / What test were Chinese officials applying to the forehead to diagnose Covid?
« on: 14/04/2020 16:02:32 »
When this first became a major issue I saw news footage of officials in China holding some kind of small device in the faces random members of the public to test for infection. What device was they using and what exactly were they looking at?

I have just started my journey into biology and have learnt about the Eurkaryote cells but then I have heard mention of different cells all over the body eg hair cells, skin cells etc. Are these all classed as Eurkaryote cells and are their make up the same??

Chemistry / Re: (CONFUSED) Water fuelled car engine possible?
« on: 11/08/2019 17:42:05 »
Appreciate the replies.

That explains why the most high profile attempt was discredited. They said that his numbers didn't add up and if they did then he had essentially invented a perpetual motion engine. I didn't quite understand what they were saying but you made it quite clear. Thanks again.

My school science lessons taught me that water can be split and I have read of some high profile attempts at producing a water fuelled engine. Wikipedia lists quite a few but they all seem to eventually be shot down by science. What is the problem and is it actually posibble?
