Do people who wear glasses have more or less sensitive skin under their eyes?
« on: 12/02/2009 10:30:02 »
Brent asked the Naked Scientists:

Do people who wear glasses have more or less sensitive skin under their eyes?  Maybe due to light refractions? Or does it matter at all?

I love your show, I listen to your podcast every week!!
What do you think?

Some types of glass do block UV, so depending on the type of glass used in the spectacles,
the skin around the eye could be less tanned/aged by UV: shielded by the glass lenses.
