What are the equations for converting ethanol to ethanal and ethanoic acid?

What are the equations for the conversion of ethanol to ethanal from oxidation, to ethanoic acid from oxidation for each conversion?

In detail it's rather complex (biochemistry usually is).
In summary
CH3CH2OH + O2 → CH3COOH + H2O

From what i read there ethanol oxidzes into ethanal, which further oxidizes into ethanoic acid/acetic acid.

Would the equations be : ethanol to ethanal: C2H6O  (l) + O2 → C2H4O (aq) + H2O(l)
ethanal to ethanoic acid: C2H4O(l) + O2 (g)-->  CH3COOH (aq)+ H2O(l) ?

Close, but these equations aren't balanced. I believe these are:
C2H6O + 0.5 O2 —> C2H4O + H2O
C2H4O + 0.5 O2 —> C2H4O2
