All the more reason to be ashamed of the Diet Coke paper! Even a fellow crystallographer like me can see through it!

Like I said, I don’t know what happened. What should I say to him again? I forgot.

I'd say that I had found some oddities in the paper which made me question the validity of its implications, and it might make an interesting lesson on how to read popular science articles.

Alan's advice below goes well beyond just this paper. An important part of science is the ability to understand scientific papers and identify poor quality ones.
At the moment it is very easy to publish a paper on the internet and there are quite a lot of very questionable ones, particularly in the field of nutrition and alternative medicine. Interesting to note that you don't have to have had formal training to call yourself a nutritionist.

I don't like to drink coke or ice tea bc in my eyes you are only drinking sugar. So for me it seems really unhealthy and I think that the body has no advantages of drinking that. Maybe if you need a little sugar, but then prefer to eat a sweet snack I would say..

Hi,
I spoke with my PE teacher this week. He acknowledged what I thought but I don't think he believed it. My friends know that most parts of the article are not true. Carry on,

Maby, but not on my page please; I do not tolerate belittling/humiliating other people on my pages, even if the claims are true. You can make your own page for that.
Yours sincerely,
