P.S. - I Believe the Total Mass of the Oceans is interconnected & much higher in comparison to a simple glass of water hence the water in the glass shall Not overflow or rise up.
& I also Believe, thru personal self experience that during tidal hours i do Not feel Pukish or even the need to Pee more than usual.
Hence, i canNot feel any biological changes within myself in relation to the Water content in my body VS the Tidal effects of the Moon!
(But if the Tidal effect has even a miniscule 0.001% affect, i would like my Beliefs to be corrected & rectified)

The moon doesn't just pull on water, it pulls on everything! If you were to weigh yourself on a very precise scale, you might notice that you weigh ever so slightly less when the moon (and/or sun) is directly overhead (or directly under your feet!). I can't put any numbers on this since it depends on so many things (like your latitude and altitude, the relative positions of both the moon and sun), but thee effect is small.

Imperceptibly, but yes.  As chiralSPO points out, it is not just selective to water since it is a gravitational effect. It thus deforms Earth's crust and bends trees and such.

It has to do with mass, and yes, tidal effects have a trivial effect on any extended object like people. An object the size of a person in freefall will tend to align itself vertically due to tidal effects. It would take quite some time. On the ground, weight is the primary measurable difference.

No, but the surface would not be a perfect segment of a sphere centered on Earth. Tides do not create more water, so the water in the glass cannot rise unless the tides are so strong as to suck it clean out of the glass.

There will be a point somewhere between the centre of the earth and the centre of the moon where the gravitational fields cancel out. The orbiting thing will break up well before this point where the two gravitational fields cancel out.  It's called the Roche limit, and Phobos is already approaching the Roche limit of Mars and is beginning to break up.  The matter will cease to be bound by gravity and will orbit the planet as rings without any significant portion of it actually falling to the planet below.

The Roche limit occurs when tidal stresses exceed the graviational binding of an object. If you are standing on a set of bathroom scales (which is calibrated to measure force):
- They aren't sensitive enough to measure a change in force of 1 part in 10⁷. But even if they were sensitive enough...
- If I read the equations correctly (see link below), the tidal force on Earth's surface is proportional to GΔr/R³
      - Where R is the distance between the centers of Moon and Earth (for example), or 384,000 km
      - And Δr is how far you are from the center of the Earth (ie the Earth's radius, if you are standing on the ground, or 6370km)
      - G is Newton's Gravitational Constant

But the set of scales is attracted to the Moon by the same tidal forces as you are.
- If you are standing on scales, what matters is the change in tidal force between the center of the scales and the center of you (let's say this difference in height is 1 meter)
      - Let's say Δr_s is the distance of the center of the scales from the center of the Earth, or 6370km
      - Let's say Δr_h is the distance of the center of the human from the center of the Earth, or 6370.001km
      - The difference between these is G(Δr_s - Δr_h)/R³
      - Or about 1 part in 15 million of the normal gravitational acceleration due to the Moon, or about 10^-13 of Earth's surface gravity.

When you look at a cup full of water, the center of the water is about the same distance from the center of the Earth as the center of the cup. So the Tidal force on both are equal, and the water in the cup does not rise at all, relative to the cup.

My " Beliefs " stand Rectified!

The Sun, The Earth & The Moon...All are interconnected & Hence do Affect each other in relation to Gravitational Effects.
(Including Whatever else there is on their respective surfaces)

Reason i requested for a consensus was because i came across a group/cult of people " Claiming " that during Tidal hours their physical bodies undergo a sort of spiritual upliftment process which makes them reach a state of blissful exhuberance from within.

Related to the Effects of the Moon on Mentally Unstable Individuals.

Most Laymen & Laywomen & even certain Educated Professional Mental Health Experts & Psychiatrists hold an idea that the Full Moon Affects the human Mind/Brain in some Negative manner.

I Believe that, maybe having a slightly bright illuminating ball in the night sky might scare or perhaps make the mentally unstable a bit irked, but cannot think or rather do not know of any other possibility of how that might affect individuals.

Personally, i could never differentiate between a full moon n no moon night...
I Observed my pattern of thoughts & thinking & dreams...then got up n searched for the moon...but Always missed out on Predicting what moon night it might be...
I Simply could Not achieve that result for myself.

In traditional societies (no artificial lights indoors, no outside street lighting), a full or near-full Moon allows more outdoor activities after sunset.
- If someone were marginally sleep-deprived, a few hours of extra activity by Moonlight might push them into severe sleep deprivation, and perhaps bizarre behavior (if they had a predisposition).

But in modern societies, with indoor lighting at the click of a switch, and brightly-lit cities, the Moon is almost lost in the glare.
- We have cities that are open 24 hours per day, and streaming media sites with 10000 hours of content every day.
- Many people are chronically sleep-deprived
- So I think that there may be many lunatics in our cities, and not just on a full Moon!
