Title: Is it possible to surgically tuck ears closer to the head?
Post by: thedoc on 27/10/2016 15:23:01
Raymond Fealy  asked the Naked Scientists:
The worst thing I can think of that makes a person look ugly is protruding ears.
Is it possible to have ears surgically cut and resown so that they are tucked closer to the head?
Would such a procedure impair the ear's ability to collect sound?
Does cartilage heal much slower than fles ?
Regards, Raymond Fealy Melbourne , Australia

"The worst thing I can think of that makes a person look ugly is protruding ears. "
Really?
That's weird!

However, the answer to the question is yes.
