Just to satisfy my curiosity does anyone happen to know if Einstein was a specialist or a generalist. Could he have been autistic?

I think he liked to sail his boat. (I've no idea if that helps.)

I am guessing that he must have been quite practical with his hands as well as his brain. I did not know he liked to sail, interesting....

Einstein was also, apparently, quite an accomplished violinist. This would necessarily involve the manual dexterity for fine manipulations and odd jobs, but not necessarily for heavy carpentry and the like.

Einstein was said to be dyslexic but that was not proven by his biographers. He was not autistic
