Title: Would it be possible to have a special section for perpetual motion machines ?
Post by: syhprum on 26/11/2018 14:41:29
The Ideas for the design of such machines or systems seem to come thick and fast with misguided correspondents devoting many pages to explain how they should work.
Could you demand some entry qualification such as film of power supply meters going backward or bank statements accumulating of course these would be easy to fake!

excellent suggestion!

I propose the topic should be titled "Our Lady of Perpetual Motion".

Most people don’t notice, but we do have a whole section where they can go. It’s called ‘That Can’t Be True’

and so there is.

however, I joined this illustrious forum to find the answers of "why" (with due respect to BC) something can't be true.

Perpetual  ,  none stopping ..

Newtons  laws  of  motion  ,  an object  in  motion  will  remain  in  motion unless  acted  upon  by  external  forces ..

It  already  exists !

Perpetual motion is a misnomer what is normally meant by a Perpetual motion machine is a device that gives an output of power with no input.
No one is going to post their ideas in "That Can’t Be True" because they believe their ideas would work .

Not correct , the machine has to have an equilibrium of  output ,  inputting,  by means  of  .  Equaling the laws of conservation  rather than breaking it .   Although I  think  the  laws of conservation  can  be broke .  My  clock  may work like my laser medium works .  But that  is  just plagiarism for somebody .
