Title: Could gravity is a property of Time?

Time, Matter and Gravity
(Please correct me if I am wrong anywhere)

I have always had a doubt in my mind about the concepts of time, matter and mass. What is mass? And what causes gravity?.... Does time really exist?
Here is my new model for time:
We know that matter requires space to exist. And in order to occupy the space it bends the space around it.
Now, we observe phenomena of time-dilation around huge masses. Greater the mass is slower the time flow around it (Gravity and velocity both slow down time). Also, an object in motion experiences time dilation. An object with a velocity has a momentum and if an object is approaching the speed of light increases its mass (actually the momentum increases and makes it heavier) and the object experiences some major time dilation.
So from these two points we can infer that mass interferes with the time and thus makes it slower. So an area in space with no mass in it must have the fastest time flow. As light is mass-less and the fastest thing, it experiences no time dilation. So, we can say that whenever mass occupies the space-time fabric it kind of degrades the time fabric (just like a cloth when we pierce a hole in it). So, let’s assume that there is some force that holds the time-fabric together and when an objects occupies the time-fabric it weakens the threads (just a metaphor for the forces that hold time together) of the fabric and thus resulting in degraded time-flow.

The theory of gravity:
Now, what if gravity is not a property of mass?... we don’t even understand what gravity is. We know that as we move away from a mass, gravitational field decreases and in turn time also speeds up.  Let’s say that gravity is the property of time-fabric.  If we look at the problem that way it’s a lot easier to explain time-dilation phenomena. If we link gravity to time, we can say that gravity is just the difference in flow of time at different distances from the mass.
Our universe finds the most efficient way to do a thing. And we link gravity to time we can say that masses move towards each other because, any mass will find the most efficient way to occupy the space-time fabric and the efficient way to do that is not to bend the space-time fabric but, is to move into the space of another mass who has already bent the space-time fabric. A huge mass will always have an enormous degradation in the time fabric and hence other masses will move into the degraded time fabric to occupy the space more easily. So, if we look at the problem this way we can also realize the reason that, why don’t we see any anti-gravity phenomena in the nature.

We also know that a huge mass will bend large amount of space-time and larger masses occupy the space more efficiently than smaller masses. Hence, the smaller masses either have to increase their mass or velocity to occupy the space-time or enter other body's space-time because, weaker the fabric the more efficient is the position of the mass on space-time.

I have been trying to draw some diagrams for this theory but, it is quiet hard to draw such figures and formulas on MS paint....so, I will try to attach the pics and a mathematical proof soon. Till then tell me if this model has any flaws...

I believe that there might be some miss-conceptions about the how matter bends space-time.... So, here you go...according to this model, matter bends the the space completely (imagine that space fabric is like a elastic wall which completely surrounds the matter, refer to figure 2). But, on the the other hand the time-fabric is like a magnetic field (figure-3) and in order to occupy the time-fabric more efficiently objects move into another object's time-fabric...

Figure-2:this shows that space-fabric will have no effect on the gravity and hence Gravity is not related to the space fabric..

Figure-3.This shows that the effect of time dilation that we observe might be that of weakened time fabric and must result in time-flowing at different rates...

I have wondered similar things. Explaining gravitational attraction is not obvious in this model. Is it possible that the potential energy of the object/particle is lowered as an effect of the time dilation--something akin to the frequency decreasing, though I don't know which frame of reference is the best to use. From the particle's perspective there is no change in energy, but from the perspective of the massive object, as the particle approaches, the de Broglie wavelength of the particle would be red shifted, unless the momentum increased. I don't know if the effect would be of enough magnitude to explain the gravitational attraction, or if it is even a nonsensical approach, but that's where I got.

Well... the formula for gravitational time dilation is given by T0= Tf*(1-V/c)^1/2... where T0=slower time frame;Tf=faster time frame; V= gravitational potential; and c=speed of light. So, we currently know the relation between time and gravitational potential. But, the problem is that we treat time as a fundamental quantity... What if, time, itself is composed of other things? may be we can assume that there is a force (not like F=ma) that holds time together. I have tried to explain it through the diagram. please leave your comment..
