How you react to the disease will depend on your specific risk factors and the prevalence of the disease in your community.  And, of course, your own immunization status.

Surface transmission wasn't supposed to be a major part of COVID transmission. 

As far as your food, it really depends on packaging.  Personally I haven't been too concerned about prepackaged foods. 

It never hurts to wash your uncooked veggies.  Cooked veggies should be OK. 

So far I've avoided unpackaged bulk foods since the beginning of the pandemic.  But, those might be what would be best to wait before consuming, especially if eaten raw/cold.
