Title: How can some people memorize things so easily?

Jacqueline reached out with an interesting question:
I am a waitress and I never write anything down and I can easily memorize everyones order, why is this?
Do you know the answer?

I suspect that you have had a lot of practise, you have natural aptitude (people good at waiting tables - because they can remember long orders and deliver accurately and speedily) and you have found tricks that work for you to make things more memorable...
