Title: Decent Physics books?

Could you reccomend a book about physics, space in particular, that is suitable for a beginner? Because I'm interested in physics but don't know where to start.

I'm just about to do a GCSE level science exam. So quite basic at the moment.

Anyone think "Motion Mountain" Would be good for starters? It is free and comprehensive.

Yes - it's entertaining and not full of mistakes; ideal.
But read every page of your GCSE revision guide too!

No great help for space-physics, but for physics and/or electronics you could do far worse than the textbooks by Tom Duncan. He has a very down-to-earth practical approach, which suited me well.

In many ways, the best Physics textbook to go for is the one which catches your eye in the book shop and which you feel that you could read.
There are so many available and, for GCSE and A level, none of them has many errors.

My GCSE science module is in 4 days, so I'm reading my revision guide a lot at the moment.
