Hexagons are 2D geometric polygons that are commonly found in honeycombs and pencils. A hexagon is made up of six sides and six inner angles. Continue reading to learn more about the features of these 6-sided forms, including hexagon symmetry lines.

A regular hexagon must have three characteristics:
All hexagonal sides must have the same length.
Each of the inner angles must be 120 degrees.
When all of the inside angles are added together, they must equal 720 degrees.
