Convoy of 21 satellites - what were they?
« on: 28/05/2020 17:46:27 »
Here's a question from Tania:

On 5th May, 0610 - 0617am in Cape Town (S34 deg 10' 08"  E 18 deg 25' 49.2") 21 satellites in equidistant convoy came over from NW (Kommetjie side over Red Hill & over False Bay towards Gordons Bay).

Who could they likely belong to & what are they surveying? Where does one glean that kind of info? It was quite a remarkable sight.

Any thoughts? Sounds like Starlink to me.
