Dear Rootologists,

Ewe got water roots and soil roots yes ?...they're the main two eh ?

SOIL ROOTS

See them all there being busy being roots !!

So, why grow plants in water when they can just as well grow in soil ?

What is the main advantages and disadvantages of both mediums ?

Can all plants grow in both ?

What other mediums can plants grow in ?

I'm staying firmly planted here....rooting ewe all for your klevurness. (Le groans)

Hugs et les shmisheys

LOL...The root engineer! Hey what is that little plant in the dirt... ?

Plants can be started in a auger which is a gelatin type clear-ish gel...we used on bulb cuttings...

I have used a cutting dipped in root tone then into the dirt. I have also used a cutting started in a glass of water and left that way.. I have had pretty good luck that way if I feed the water a tiny bit every now and again with like a plant vitamin.. Have had better luck starting plants from water then dirt.. but they don't do as good upon transplanting for me as I forget to water them!

I am not sure which is better but I like both ways...

Thank Ewe Mam for your personal insights into soil and water root joy !

That's very interesting about the transplanting...or is is purely because you do not water them ? (Which I imagine could really ruin a plants days ! [;)])......very interesting though that more success is rewarded from water only.......I can envisage why though....as it probably feeds the plants more efficiently!

So ewe ewes gel eh ?....does that mean I could grow asparagus on my head with all the hair gel I ewse ?...it takes three years to grow y' know ?

THANK YOU again
