I can only assist a little here Ryan.......I do know that the last one (thanks) is a word of gratitude.
Glad I could help !! [;D]

Well, its part of our Assignment and we have to name them, but she also said that these are wrong.
-
I'll give you a clue, since its your assignment. Take CaCl3. It cant be right because Ca has a charge of +2 while Cl has a charge of -1. If you add the charges together, there is a total charge of -1. Thats just not possible, so the correct answer would be CaCl2, which is Calcium Chloride. See if you can workd out the others. Tip, use your periodic table.
-
Ok. Thank you

BaSOs what does it mean? "s" is your error of typing or it was written that way?
-
I meant to put a 3. Error on my part. haha

Then that formula is correct: barium sulfite

All the others instead are wrong. (HgOH could, in theory, be ok, but it should be written in another way).
-
yes I got them right. Thank you.

Gosh Neily I am glad you are assisting as I could get no further then you! LOL LOL...
Ditto what Neily said Ryan...
WOW What grade are you in... I NEVER STUDIED ANYTHING CLOSE TO THIS IN CHEMISTRY YIKES!!!
-
We are just naming Binary and seomting else ions. And figureing out all thir charges and stuff. Its simple
-
LOL.. I don't even think I ever had a chemistry class just a very basic science and a physical science class in Highschool!
-
yeah this ones a mixture of chemistry and physics or physcial or sometihng lol
-
Well It is good You will know way more then me! LOL Already do!! LOL!
-
CaCl3 should be CaCl2 for a start and the rest carry on in much the same vein; the ionic charges don't match up.
-
in high school i took physical science, biology, chemistry, and physics.
