Well I know Christmas for us comes from basically But Where does Chrimbo come from??

Please be sweet and tell this American a little background on this term!


Is it a combo of Christmas and boxing day?

It's just a short form for Christmas... It's used in Canada too, but its not a widely used term.

what is the BO part? I know is is for Christmas.. but does it have a history.. where did it come from. Is it a way to take Christ out of the celebration???
