what is the difference between cofactor and coenzyme?is coenzyme sub-heading of cofactor? [???]
-
Coenzymes are complex organic molecules, some of the B vitamins are used to make co-enzymes that are important in the reactions of respiration. Some cofactors are simple inorganic ions, these are called trace elements such as manganese and cobalt.

A CO-ENZYME is a small organic non-protein MOLECULE that carries chemical groups between enzymes while a
CO-FACTOR is a non-protein CHEMICAL COMPOUND that is bound tightly to an enzyme and is required for catalysis.
