I mean rather than gravity causing space to curve and time to slow. Virtual particles fleetingly appear in the vacuum as predicted by the uncertainty principle. They can be time-like or space-like. I'm thinking, where there's mass then there's less uncertainty and fewer virtual particles. Fewer space-like virtual particles is manifested as curved space and fewer time-like virtual particles as time slowing.
No, the question depends on the idea of relativity.Gravity has its footprints, one of them is curved space, yet to say time is slowed is by virtue of a body at c-relativistic speed.
