Level of IQ for the job
« on: 11/11/2021 23:11:56 »
Hey, guys. I'm new here. I decided to get a job at an IT company. I've been asked to provide my IQ level. I'm not really sure what it's for. Is it a valid requirement? What are my options for finding out my IQ level? Thank you in advance.

Tell them it's about 120 - 125, well above average but below genius (which would make them suspicious - why aren't you running your own company?). There is no consistently valid test and they would have a problem proving it was 110 and not 120. What matters is your performance at whatever aptitude test the company sets for the particular job.

Hello & Welcome!

Did your future employer Not specify a way of doing that?

Isn't that a bit absurd?

Ps - It will all start to make sense if a Random User comes up with a Spammy solution.

They told me to take a test, but they didn't tell me which one. From what I've heard, the tests are different and show different results. So I decided to ask your opinion on the matter. I only found one test with positive reviews that might work for me iq-global-test.com [nofollow] . It seems to be said that it is the most accurate test... Generally it seemed to me that the company itself provides the right test to take.

Well then imho...
Don't join in with them.

If the Organisation is soo poor in management, & lack basic referential skills, i cannot imagine any positive growth value or future benefits.

Ps - Or Maybe...it's a Trick!
Maybe they wish to judge your level of honesty & straightforwardness.
Perhaps Alan already saw that one coming, so Simply follow his Recommendations.

Intelligence is the ability to surprise the questioner. Not the same as IQ, which is the ability to do what the questioner expected. I'd prefer to hire the guy who told me something I didn't already know.

You can find out your IQ in different ways and in different directions. I find out my IQ every time I write some work and then send it for editing (just for myself to understand which topics I have mistakes in and to correct my grammar). I use special companies on the Internet for this. There are less problems with writing. In addition to checking your grammar there are different tests even on the Internet. You can look up a couple for yourself.
