Almost anywhere that people live, in fact. And if there's no local clay, you can buy concrete or ceramic roof tiles from somewhere else instead of making them yourself. Likewise slate and wobbly tin. In fact corrugated steel is so cheap, so adaptable, so robust, and so easy to transport and erect, that the military are even considering using it for temporary buildings - whatever next???
I wasn't aware that solar panels delivered themselves.
