Title: Can i change my fingerprint?

Hey guys i was fascinated to discover i have lines on my finger (yes i know its obvious but i just remembered i had a question)

Can i change it?

I remember reading something like if i rub a sand-paper-like substance over it for a few year every morning, it will alter the way it is seen..

Is this true?
