Title: How can I demonstrate food spoilage?
Post by: Christo Southey on 19/03/2009 11:30:02
Christo Southey  asked the Naked Scientists:

Hi there...

I am currently living in South Africa and I am trying to find out something which is bothering me.. What experiment can you do to show food spoilage with the use of water, light or temperature. What can be the constant in the experiment and how do you keep track of the experiment. I would appreciate any advice and help..

Thank you

Christo

Hi.
Just keep two the same and see how varying the third affects things.
Presumably you will be doing visual assessment - I would not advise tasting or eating the results.(Only test it on your friends, perhaps. lol)
