Hi guys,im new here.I saw this site 10 mins ago when i was searching for a song.Weird,isn't it?Anyway I'm not a scientist and English is not my main language I just wanted to say "Hello Everyone!".
Hope I will allways be there because the word "Naked Scientist" is ridiculous and I loved it in a different way.

Welcome. There's no requirement to be a scientist. In fact nobody knows who is and who isn't a scientist here for the majority of the members. So that's no big deal. Would you consider yourself a science enthusiast?

Yes indeed, as Pmb pointed out we are not all scientists here. So join the club. I am no scientist, but I have always had an interest in science, though you might not believe it reading the vast majority of my posts.

As to your spelling and grammar, no need to worry there either. There seems to be a considerable number of people for whom English is their first language, but their command of it is abysmal. I do hope you aren't looking to improve your English at the same time as pursuing a little scientific knowledge. The modern world of keypads, keyboards, auto spellcheckers and predictive text seems to have made us lazy in the art of the written word.

hi, i'm not a true scientist who puts forward a theory and then measures,measures etc to find a positive and negative conclusion. the result is always of use if the measurement is exact!

although i have patents taken out by various employers with me as sole inventor....mostly chemistry.

however, every development i have been employed in, has been an approach to START FROM FIRST PRINCIPLES and use imagineering before applying the practical application.

there is probably two types of people.   SCIENTISTS and NATURAL PHILOSOPHERS
