If you think logically 2x0 is a non function, this sort of sum can cause all sorts of problems.  Even though the sum above does infact give the answer of zero it is not arrived at in the conventional sense of 2x0, that is 2x0=0, it is a non function that gives an answer of zero through its non function status. Zero being zero is neither positive nor negative. Therefore a non functon zero from 0^0 must be true.

Even powers of negative numbers wouldnt work so well, 2 lots of minus 2 is  minus 4, you do need to multiply the positive or negative,

 

Subtraction is not commutative.   5 -1   ≠   1 - 5

Not sure what context this is in but would it not need a value, ie (+5 -1) x +3 if in computer programming, or you would get bugs?

Iteration is not simple addition or subtraction either, but it is imprecise applied mathmatics, rather than  absolute classical.

I can counter that with another question: if hydrogen rises, then why does xenon not sink to the floor?  Hydrogen en masse will rise, like in a balloon, but if you were to slowly release hydrogen into a sealed room my guess is that it would slowly diffuse to reach an even concentration throughout the room. Gas atoms and molecules are constantly colliding at fairly high speeds and this in my opinion will lead to even mixing. Not really my field and I could well be wrong.

Argon does infact sink through air, not so sure about xenon. Helium is known for disappearing into space. Hydrogen may have some property of being in a molecule of h2.

I have had ring worm before that creates a slippery sheen on the skin. I used Tincture of iodine.

Go bad is a bit ambiguous, i thinnk the tea bags in the compost would be considered as bad. Tea looses its pernache, as does coffee which is why people who are cofficianadoes are well known for grinding their own beans.

Depending on the conditions im sure coffee and tea could be infested with fungus, parasites etc if not stored correctly. Similarly flour can be infected with mites or go stale.

Indeed evan, floating logs are a danger, night time running can be hazardous especially in areas like the west coast of north america and not advisable. The logs are big there, you may even get a giant redwood

There's a conspiracy theory that the Great Auk are still around.

Yes, obviously as they where very elusive and difficult to catch. Just like the Dodo, Elephant bird, Aurochs.

Also polar bears would have difficuly during the winter months as there is no nearby land masses to move to so there will probably be a lack of food and probably be annoyed they had missed all the penguins.

I dod leave it up a while before replying, but i guess there are not many expert geologists where as physicists seem ten a penny. It is a bit quiet even though of late, even to the point of a lack of relativity questions.

On the " quuestion of the week" thread about the effects of the early earth impacts and absorption of other bodies tectonic plates where mentioned as an effect of planitary collision. It is stated that earth having tectonic plates is to do with granite, which floats and seperatley Earth having liquid water.

Any more to add?

Diabetes melletus can be caused by other factors than genes, such as auto immune disorders, obesity etc, it's possible that any "cure" is similarly abstract. Linking coincidental events is a path to madness.

The "miracle cure of cancer" is when the body returns to normal and recognises mutant cells and begins to resume disposing of them. It is quite normal, the body not disposing of anomalous cells is the problem.

Exzema or similar.  I have used tincture of iodine on skin complaints before, I believe a parasite of some sort that lived in hair follicle.
