Do you think Autism might not be just a mere disorder but a form of evolution?

I'm pretty sure that it is genetic and seems to occur in very inteligent families.

I have a feeling there are a lot of autistic people around that have never been diagnoised. Autism has only recently been recognised but it may have been around for a lot longer than that.
