what is a headache, and how does sound cause it?

That question is more complicated than you think.
Don't take this is "fact" it is oonly my understanding and only part of the questions can i attempt to answer.
However, one answer to "what is a headache" is that it could be a symptom of another illness that may be causing the headache. These can include:
Tumor ,Abscess ,Hemorrhage, Hydrocephalus (abnormal build-up of fluid in the brain) ,Blood clots ,Head trauma ,Sinus blockage or Aneurysm. There are many more and im sure someone who know a lot more than i do will post a better answer than i have. or correct what i have said.
