Title: Could pesticides be linked to allergy rates?
Post by: katieHaylor on 13/07/2018 09:19:33
Patrick asks:

Has anyone considered what pesticides have been used before and in the 90’s in peanut production, and human allergy to that pesticide, as compared to pesticides used today in peanut production, and allergies to that pesticide? Could pesticides be a cause of increased or decreased allergic reaction?

What do you think?

The proteins in peanuts that evoke the allergic reaction are known. They are not pesticides.

There is a hypothesis that peanut allergy might be linked to vaccination.

Stating possible causes for the allergy could be use of peanut oil in vaccine manufacturing & production or the process of clubbing/tagging five different vaccine shots into just one or vaccination at a very early infant age.

P.S. - Giant Pharmaceutical Corporations probably won't research into it, n the Governmental Medical Boards seem out of funds.

Falsified P.S. quote cancelled out as the hypothesis referred to hypothetical data which could be said/used in order to fume a conspiracy theory or a formula for an online bestseller book.

There is some evidence to suggest that the recent rapid increase in allergies is partially due to increased use of antihelmintics (poisons which kill intestinal worms).

These worms want to have a long and happy relationship with us (even if the benefits are rather one-sided). So they damp down the human immune system, including the digestive tract, asthma and allergies.

With frequent use of de-worming tablets, "Western" societies now have very low exposure to these calming influences on our immune systems, contributing to the explosion of auto-immune diseases. Some people with auto-immune diseases have found that they can control the symptoms by intentionally infecting themselves with intestinal parasites.

So in this cases, excessive use of pesticides has contributed to an increase in allergies (including auto-immune diseases).

There is a hypothesis that peanut allergy might be linked to vaccination.

There is, but it's not a very good hypothesis.
Allergies are generally caused by proteins, and the process for making oil from peanuts removes the proteins from the product.

There are much better ideas around- they have the disadvantage (from some people's perspective) of not being part of a conspiracy theory.
Here's a well known example.

It's related to Evan's point.
