Well as a child if it did not rain in the summer an me brother wanted to go fishing the
next day we would turn on the sprinklers and run the water all night,in about a 20 ft
perimeter! Then the first thing in the morning, right before light, we would shut the
water off, take flashlights out and pick up all the night crawlers off the surface where
we had watered... There were tons.. Why do they come to the surface after watering or
rain like that??? [;)]

Umm this may be a silly question. What are night crawlers?
-
They are great big fat large long lushous gooey worms tat are great fish bait! LOL!
-
They do not want to drown, seriously. With the soil saturated with water - no oxygen.
-
Gosh that did not even occur to me... Oh my gosh I was drowing the worms before we realled them! OHHHHH! Thanks Jimbob.. I can't believe I did not think of that that is rather logical McCoy! LOL!
