I believe in my statement until proven otherwise. As the speed of sound has been analysed as it travels through different medians but the speed of movement has not been analysed nor has it been compared in any scientific way and the more I think about how it could be analysed the more complicated it becomes so good luck if anyone wishes to try.Your belief is wrong. This has been analyzed, experiments have been done. If you had a 1000 ft steel rod and smacked one end with a ram, it would take 1/10 of a second before the other end would move, that is a fact your belief is irrelevant.

Let's say Jane went shopping and picked up a thing that required her to evaluate an integral over a closed path on the complex plane. Alternatively consider John, who was out walking in the sunshine when he had a need to generate an infinite sequence of numbers that are co-prime but not primes. Where are these people going to get help with their serious problems?Well, they could just sign up to a math forum.

Specifically, the theory that the entire Universe originated from a single tiny particle seems absurd, and unscientific.. Where's the evidence for it?What is absurd is you saying there is no evidence. Have you not simply googled "evidence for the big bang"?
Inorganic chemistry deals with the synthesis and behavior of inorganic and organometallic compounds. This field covers chemical compounds that are not carbon-based, which are the subjects of organic chemistry. The distinction between the two disciplines is far from absolute, as there is much overlap in the subdiscipline of organometallic chemistry. It has applications in every aspect of the chemical industry, including catalysis, materials science, pigments, surfactants, coatings, medications, fuels, and agriculture.Resurrecting an almost 18 year old thread just to write a definition of inorganic chemistry? Really?
I have my own domains and websites and track my own stats relative to my mailings to different groups. So go stuff it. I don't put up with AH's who call me a liar. Look what a damn fool you have made of yourself so far today. Nasty minded, vicious, IdiotI realize you have invested a lot of time and energy into your ideas so it is disappointing when you are shown that those ideas are wrong, but golly you shouldn't go bonkers, just step back and realize you can still just learn real physics and further your understanding of the universe that way.
SR does not say thatI kind of admire you for taking the time to read Puppypowers ramblings, hopefully you did not read CrazyScientist post in the same time frame, that could have a negative impact on anyone's IQ. I think there should be a pseudoscience overload warning when those two have consecutive posts.

83333,83363Isn't exciting to see how many search bots have viewed this thread. By stopping in occasionally to post a pointless comment the thread is put first in unread posts so you get more views, which is the point, I guess. Well I hope it makes you feel important and listened to. Now you can go away for a few months...

Crystal light is a sweet drink and has different flavors for different taste-buds. It is a flavor to enhance the taste of water. It is exactly what you need when you are dehydrated and bored with the basic taste of plain water. It can be your friend at a party! You can mix a dose of crystal light with any other beverage like Vodka.I'll bet crystal lite tastes better than your degreaser.

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / Re: Can we communicate with civilisation in anti matter solar systems« on: 18/05/2021 12:24:07 »
Recently I read that there might be up to 14 solar systems in our galaxy that are made out of anti-matter.The more likely number is zero.
If any of these solar systems have technological advanced civilisation, that communicate with electromagnetic waves - could we intercept their communication and respond? In theory there should be no problem, but I would not recommend visiting their planet or them visiting our planet and shaking their hands would be a right bad idea.
Does the fact that they are made out of anti-matter effect the electromagnetic communication. It shouldn't since photons are their own antiparticle, so photons can be generated from matter or antimatter.

Would you tell the world if you knew an asteroid was coming to Earth?
Heck no, that would ruin the surprise!
Heck no, that would ruin the surprise!
I don't know whether it is by yourself or somebody else. You quoted me, so it is me.
Ok, "Do good and avoid Evil".I will try.
If the owners of the "naked scientists forum" opines that mine ideas are improper then I am ready to quit.Your ideas are in conflict with the mainstream theories which yield results consistent with observation and experiments. So your ideas are incorrect. I don't know why you would quit though, why not ask questions and learn?
On the other hand if it makes you happy to make up stuff that's OK, there are many on this site who do just that, all I am saying is don't thinking making stuff up is science.
See, I am not a researcher, postgraduate, for that not even science graduate. There is no need for me to hide anything, I am a commerce graduate. I am proud to announce that I am a science enthusiast. You are not really a science enthusiast. Someone who is interested in science would learn science. You like to make up things based on a lack of knowledge. If you were really a science enthusiast you would ask questions here to increase your knowledge of science instead of making incorrect conjectures. I think you are a pseudoscience enthusiast.

I mean, driving around legally stoked up with pot. How can that be wise?It is illegal to drive while stoned. I said it is legal for adults to smoke pot in NY, just like it is legal to drink alcohol. It is not legal to drive while impared. I live in NY and smoke pot so I am well aware of the laws. If you have a question ask.

The question of "evidence" doesn't really just sit with me well at pure face value, because while we have "evidence" for evolution(which people deny), we also have "evidence" of Jesus being real(which people deny), so the question for me goes deeper. You are correct that there is evidence of evolution, lots and lots. There is no evidence at all that Jesus was supernatural, so this is not an apples to apples comparison. If you were just stating that the person Jesus existed, the evidence for that is not clear cut.
This is a decent overview of how the age of the earth was determined.
What is the "alien baby" that was supposedly found in Mexico a couple of years ago and just presented to the media?I am all grown up now and living in the US. Due to my illegal alien status I can only get work in the fast food industry. I am hopping one of my 3 parents realize they left one of their litter on earth and return for me. I am getting tired of living off fries and Mclattes...

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / Re: Does the energy of a photon affect its path through a gravitational field?« on: 05/01/2020 14:40:15 »
That is, does a photon's momentum affect its path through the gravitational field in the same way a massive object's velocity would? The momentum of a photon does not affect it's path through a gravitational field. Or another way to say this is that photons of different energies will follow the same geodesic.
Additionally the mass of an object does not affect it's path through a gravitational field. If you shoot a feather and a cannon ball in a vacuum at the same velocity and angle, they will both follow the same parabolic path. Mass will not change the path.
