Title: Who would play you in the film of your life?

If I ever got famous I would like the young Tracy Ullman to play me. My Mum would be the young Elizabeth Taylor and my Dad would be Telly Savalas. My Husband would be Donald Sutherland. I have chosen people for their likeness not acting ability!

What about you lot?

Thora Hird for my nan, Dad would have been Sidney Greenstreet but he's dead so that tall bloke with the dark hair who played Bond a few years back. Mum would be... erm... dunno... Julie Walters maybe.

Me? That would have to be someone very short & hairy. Stuart Little!  [:D]

Do you know the real story of Rin Tin Tin? It's absolutely fascinating. His bloodline is still being kept going 90 years on.

On Rin Tin Tin's first film, "Man From Hell's River", from the above site:-

"The name of fledgling studio on the verge of bankruptcy was Warner Brothers Pictures. The film was a hit and Rin Tin Tin was a sensation. The public loved him and his heroic ability. Rin Tin Tin ultimately made 26 pictures for Warner Brothers before his death on August 10, 1932. He was referred to as the mortgage lifter and credited with saving the studio from financial ruin during the silent film era."

Quasimodo. You can break that down. Qua sim Odo (Latin).

Odo, of course, being the resident changeling in Deep Space 9. So the phrase means "In the manner of one Odo" - which is quite reasonable.  [;D]

Quasi doesn't look very happy : he's "got the hump (http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/have+got+the+hump)".
