Post by: Trevor Mogane on 22/10/2008 08:38:52
Trevor Mogane  asked the Naked Scientists:

it is believed that when you sleep your body parts grow, and my question is that if i spent two days not sleeping will my body be behind in terms of growth? thanks

Two days without sleep wouldn't do much of anything to a person who is still young enough to be growing.  Prolonged sleep deprivation could indicate (or bring about) imbalance that in time could manifest into any sort of physical ailment.
