I've never heard of the one mentioned by OP, i think it is spam. I use OBS which is free and regularly comes out on top in reviews

SRecorder is free and very simple to use its only disadvantage is that the files it produces need VLC to open but VLC is free and a good video player to boot that allows the easy addition of SRS (read text on screen) files

I agree OBS deserves the top screen recorders among all the other screen recorder. But I don't like its complicated interface. So for those newbies who only want to simply record several tutorials once in a while without the requirements of sophisticated effects, I would suggest using an alternative - MORE SPAM NO THANKS - which is simple to use yet includes all the powerful features to record screen.

There are many tools for you to do with sreen record, but for me, I just like to record the audios and listen to them offline. To make it, I use an Audio Capture.

That's a very useful compilation of screen recorders. I've used OBS once if I'm not mistaken. Well, it's ok. but nothing fancy.

I've used Game bar, OBS and Camstudio and OBS is far more recommended for its support for unlimited capture sources. For those newbies who are looking for an easier software, RecMaster, Icecream and many similar are wiser choices.

Just for curiosity I downloaded "ice cream" , it works fine for five minutes then demands money, soon got rid of it!

OBS is absolutely brilliant; once you get your head around it and some of the foibles of the screen capture and layout it's incredible. It is stable, reliable and professional. I cannot believe it's free! Mainstream broadcasters use it all the time, especially at the moment with people (like me!) contributing to TV programmes on Zoom and Skype.

I don't need it but just for test loaded it, it screwed up dr5iver for my GS8400 video card no big deal if you know what has happened but it caused confusion for a while

I'm not sure whether you have heard about Joyoshare Screen Recorder. But I have to admit that it's the most easy-to-use screen recorder I've ever used. I used OBS before, but for some unknown reason, I sometimes just got a black capture window. If you know any solutions, I would appreciate it if you could tell me. My friend uses Camtasia. OMG, it is so powerful and handy that it totally amazed me, which can even separate the audio track and the video track after recording. But I cannot afford it. It costs too much.

If it is for screen recording, I think TunesKit AceMovi Video Editor can be used. The pictures recorded by this software are clearer and smoother than other software, at least I think so.
