Physiology & Medicine / Re: What is the role of dietary protein?
« on: 28/07/2020 08:43:18 »
My coach once said to eat protein rich foods to gain muscles, but I think there are many factors which play role in fitness and strength. I selected foods from this list https://www.aqfsports.com/blogs/news/what-are-the-best-foods-to-eat-for-muscle-growth and customized my diet upto  a certain extent.

General Science / Re: What does exercise do to the brain?
« on: 22/07/2020 07:38:40 »
No doubt exercise is good for muscles and overall body, but I've learned in my experience of doing exercises, that brain health is strongly related with them. I don't know the actual science behind it, but I've learned the release of endorphin in brain, that may be the reason for that good feeling after exercise.

Physiology & Medicine / Re: Why Do We Need To Warm Up For Exercise ?
« on: 21/07/2020 08:23:54 »
I think its due to increasing blood flow, and enhancing flexibility of muscles. This helps much in preventing injury and strengthening muscles.

What is your fluid intake routine ? Water plays a big role in muscles health..

Cells, Microbes & Viruses / Re: Does exercise provoke the birth of new dopaminergic nerve cells in the brain?
« on: 06/07/2020 07:25:59 »
I am also looking for its answer. For fighting depression and anxiety, doctors often say to do exercise. I think there involved neurotransmitter in the whole phenomena,

Physiology & Medicine / Re: Why does the level of (potential) fitness decrease with age?
« on: 02/07/2020 07:04:01 »
Because every living organism has a lifespan. There is an age of each organ which we have, so with the passage of time we get old, and our stamina and fitness get down.

Physiology & Medicine / Re: Can using your brain count as exercise?
« on: 01/07/2020 07:22:11 »
I've heard that brain is kind of muscle. Like i started to learn a new knowledge, the first day i learned not much, but after a period of time, my brain get involved in it, and its capacity for learning increases.

General Science / Re: Breath-holding and High Intensity exercise -- is Breath Holding important?
« on: 01/07/2020 07:17:16 »
I often try to take deep breath while doing exercise. I think it maintains overall cardiovascular health.

Physiology & Medicine / Re: Why can't I gain weight?
« on: 26/06/2020 08:05:51 »
I've been doing doing workout from 1 year, I've loosed much fats, but building muscles seems hard for me, as diet plays a major role in it. I like to follow custom diet plan for building muscles. I added tuna, eggs, chicken in my diet. But it all takes time in building muscles and achieving fitness goals. Staying hydrated is very important, if you are planning to train muscles hard.

Physiology & Medicine / Re: Why do muscles feel sore after exercise?
« on: 25/06/2020 12:40:04 »
I've heard that our muscles are made up of fibers, and after doing a hard workout, the fibers needs time to get healed, so this may cause soreness or other muscular problems.

Physiology & Medicine / Re: What can cause nausea after exercise?
« on: 25/06/2020 12:36:32 »
My brother got nauseated after doing a long run, and doctor advised him to drink plenty of water. But i'm confused how one can manage the water level in body while doing a long run.

Physiology & Medicine / Re: When are my muscles fully developed?
« on: 24/06/2020 12:28:00 »
I think you are intent is about growth age, but changes occurs in our body throughout the life.

Physiology & Medicine / Re: Is it possible to completely relax all our muscles?
« on: 24/06/2020 12:26:37 »
Yes i studied that movement occurs as a result of contraction in muscles, but without relaxation of muscles movement can't be completed. Biceps and triceps is a good example for such movement.
