Hello Everyone,
I have big problem and need solution.
I am not able to start My XP. I have install dual OS XP and Fedora. I have deleted the XP's C: drive where It was installed.
Now the problem is that I am not able to reinstall it due to fedora's Non Dos partition.
I want to delete the Non Dos partition and install XP back..
I don't want to lose my data on other drives like D:,E:, and F: ..
Is there any solution to delete the fedora an can get my space with XP back???

For a Window's based tool, Partition Magic or some other disk management software. If I remember correctly, one of these programs has a Master Boot Section recovery - or rebuilding - tool. If the LILO is still working on your computer then begin searching for MBR recovery tools in LINUX. As you obviously have access to another computer and thus the internet use it fro searching the LINUX tools. Make a bootable CD with Ubuntu AND the tools on it, start trying to get it back.
Your disk and data very well may be done for, though. This is a serious error.

I hope i've understood the question right!
If you wish to reset just the MBR data then you can use the FIXMBR tool on the XP disk. It does not delete the partition but will put drive C: back to its original boot state.
Put the xp cd in the drive and boot up from it, then when given a choice go to the recovery console and enter Fixmbr, the new mbr will then be written to the C: drive. This can also be used to delete any Linux boot entry on the MBR.

Oh, crap - it has been so long since DOS I forgot that. There is a problem with FIXMBR though. Unless it is the first thing done after the MBR is deleted, it usually doesn't work.
