Title: Anyone know why..... (Smileys/Emoticons aren't working)?

....my smileys don't work?  Under the attachments the "don't use smileys" tick box is empty and I cant see settings anywhere else to alter them.  The smileys above the text box are fine they just don't translate properly in the text box.....   :o ......

Well, all except (https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thenakedscientists.com%2Fforum%2FSmileys%2Fdefault%2Fembarrassed.gif&hash=5613fe6c6fa23cc2c4ab8cd04de46ba4) which one has to add as a photo:   [:-[] does not work, too many brackets.

About a year ago, the system was changed requiring you to put square brackets in around the emoticons (or, otherwise, not automatically doing it for you).
