Might be One single Mod...cuz the pattern seems similar on all occasions.

Stopping a negative entity by shutting them down is one thing...

But, Destroying & Obliterating & making them go Extinct to such an Extreme level that even their mere Existence becomes Doubtful is Really Something !

You're going to need to be more specific about what you think we've done that is wrong.

Those members that you mention were either spammers or advertisers. That's against the rules. They would have known that if they had read them before posting.

I don’t recognise those usernames, but I do recognise what @Kryptid says.
We get inundated by people trying to spam/troll us. Most common ads are ‘write your essay’, casino, online drugs, fake passports, escorts, porn, - do I need to add more? These are killed at birth.
If you consider that brutal and are scared, what can I say?

Please allow me to present a weak analogy...
Any of you remember Thee ' WoW ' signal received by SETI.

I Observed something on the Forum...
For me personally, the act was pretty powerfully intimidating..
Hence it created a " WoWiE " effect within Mee!

What's more, i observed three distinct " WoWiE " signals...
They all had a similar pattern..
Hence assumption prevailed, they might have originated from the same source.

I was simply a lil bit curious to know who was that DemiGod or DemiGoddess who achieved such an incredible feat.

Maybe we ought to invent a new rule?
I wonder what it might be.
Maybe an instant ban for anyone using more than 4 emoticons in one post. Except on sundays - even mods have to rest. Still, Saturdays are rest days for some, so maybe allow 8 on Saturdays except 3rd saturday in month, none. 2nd saturday, we could have a complex algorithm not revealed to anyone , go over that number you are a gonner.

I've banned my fair share of spammers, including banning the same person multiple times for ban evasion. Whether I banned those particular users you've mentioned, I can't remember.

I recognize one of those usernames - a blatant attempt to advertise.
- If I see someone posting a blatant advertisement in their first post, I delete the post and permanently ban the username. These people have no intention of following the forum rules.
- If I see someone posting an ad after making a few useful contributions, I send them a warning. Repeated infractions following a pattern result in a ban.
- I notice some other moderators ban the user, but leave the post there, just rewording it so that the advertised organization is turned into "spam".
- Sometimes I have to change the username to remove the advertisement (mods have the power to rename a user). So the post may remain, but the username is gone.

Moderators are not infallible, and we can fix any mistakes we've made.

However, most forum sites get inundated with SPAM.  So, any first post that appears to be not science related, and blatant self-promotion gets intercepted and removed very quickly.

Hopefully rapid response to SPAM helps let potential spammers know they aren't wanted.

Established users that appear to be problematic for the forum will receive warnings before administrative action is taken.

Honestly, this OP was a lil more than Appreciation...one could say a sheer personal liking for the ' Bold & Just ' actions performed by an Unknown Entity.

 ' Spammers(disguised as registered users) ' being Banned!

But what grabbed more than my attention, was Someone...Literally Obliterating(rightfully) the whole damm OP...and making the
 ' Spammer ' Extinct...extinct to such an extent that even when i tried to search thru with the
' User Nickname '...the System responded sayin ' The User Does Not Exist! '

' Registered Profiles ' remain on the Forum...would that Not be Good in terms of ' Steadily Increasing ' the Total Registered Users Count of the TNS Forum?

Aren't these ' Spammers ' in a way Contributing towards increasing the total strength of the Forum?

Would having a Thousand Members not be helpful in attracting more AD revenues?

Ad revenue is probably based on views per day and not on number of members, contributing or otherwise.
