Physiology & Medicine / What Ingredients are Safe to be Mixed with Carrot Juice?
« on: 17/01/2019 03:34:20 »
Okay, so my mom made me a cup of carrot juice (sometimes mixed with apples) almost everyday by my request so that my eyes will be normal again. Some weeks ago, my distant relative brought us a bottle of honey and for some weeks I mixed the carrot juice with a tablespoon of honey since my mom asked me to consume both yet I don't like the taste of either, so I mixed them in order to get the taste cancel each other out and it worked. I do however stop mixing it with honey since now what remains in the bottle has changed color already. I still have some instant coffee I got from my office since they gave us extra hours and attempted to mix it with the carrot juice but haven't dared to do it yet since I'm afraid the result will be fatal. So, is it safe to mix carrot juice with (powdered) instant coffee?

Physiology & Medicine / What Causes Infection Post Cataract Surgery?
« on: 15/11/2018 00:58:02 »
So I underwent the cataract surgery at October 6th and checked-up regularly. Everything went well until yesterday, when I checked-up, the doctor said that there's an infection in my right eye (the one which got operated). When I asked the doctor what caused it he didn't know either and asked back whether I have some cracks in my teeth. I then asked what do the teeth have to do with the eye, but the doctor just asked me to answer the question, but I didn't know the answer either. So, do you guys happen to know what is the exact relationship between a tooth and an eye? If they are in fact unrelated at all, what exactly caused the infection in my right eye and how to cure it?

Physiology & Medicine / Can Cataract be Cured without Surgery?
« on: 03/10/2018 03:36:18 »
Yesterday I went to doctor and it was revealed that I have cataract. I was shocked so I forgot to ask some important questions. What caused cataract? I mean, what lifestyle/habit can trigger cataract? Can cataract be cured without undergoing surgery? Because honestly, I am scared. Can carrot reduce or cure it? The doctor gave me some vitamin B-complex. Is consuming a huge amount of food which contains those enough?

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / How do I calculate the velocity of a projectile launched at different angles?
« on: 12/03/2018 10:40:29 »
Something was thrown with an elevation angle 60o. Determine its velocity and direction after:

b. 91a24814efa2661939c57367281c819c.gif second

I tried solving the (a) question by substituting the angle to the equation d57b648a1024bc15cca9ca8d16201c4a.gif d28db80d6c751d296b107e72fcae4e43.gif and got 0 (the book uses 68561512167358503b2d470fd061955c.gif as the gravity acceleration), which is impossible since at speed 0 the thing must have been stopped, but when I determined the time when it reached the maximum distance using the formula 1cbe5d5d138963e8b409b3d825d9562a.gif I got f644b826c69179e3660b3005484b068c.gif second which means the thing hasn't stopped yet in b5a3bdbba0dd17103f156a453dd39eb3.gif second. Did I make a mistake somewhere?
