Title: Relativity?
Post by: Naufal the B. S. on 20/08/2009 00:19:53
Although, this question can be called "fool question", i think, if you are-scientists-genius, maybe, you want to "WOW".
Ok, my theory,
"if time is relative, all things in the world can go future, go back, up to you. Now i imagined with the "destiny". We can go future like a seek in your vid player. We can go back like a seek in my mp3 player. I think, all of this, happened, because of "recorded world". Our behavior aren't our behavior. It like destiny and cassette. Could you understand and tell me about this?
(sorry for my very very bad english, try to analyze)

This is what i think;

The act of going back to the past causes the past to change, thus making your present moment no longer valid. Therefore it cannot happen.

Going to the future changes your present moment, thus making the future no longer true.

But yes, if this is all predetermined, then I think it could be possible. But it will invalidates any possibility of the existence of pure randomness, especially in quantum mechanics.

...I think...

To keep the analogy with the video cassette:
If you would fast forward to the future, you'll only see static, because nothing is recorded there yet.
Traveling to the past is not possible. (<- yes, that's a period)
