Why do you prefer that side? Do you ever switch it up and sleep on the other side? If when you do, how many pillows prop your head, and are they soft, medium or firm pillows?
-
this is going to sound crazy... i usually sleep on the left side of the bed but occasionally in the middle. i have 3 pillows... 2 soft squishy ones on the bottom and a firm one on the top. i always fall asleep laying on my right side and wake up on my stomach. even if i am only asleep for an hour
-
i prefer this because its the only way i can sleep. lol
-
I sleep on the right side of my bed to start. I sleep mostly on my left side, when that gets tired I lay on my back till i wake not comfortable and switch to my right side, but then on my right side I have to move another pillow under my head and pull it under my face and chest!like a snuggle bunny! LOL
Can't sleep on my tummy since I was pregnant!
-
wow... i may never sleep when i am pregnant then. uh oh
-
It was the later months that did it! I always slept on my tummy as a kid! I really miss it now it used to feel so good! I bet if I could, I would sleep like a baby!
-
Well my bed it sort of small so I can't sleep on either side. LoL. I roll all over to get to bed though. It is different every night.
-
That's unusual do you mean you turn from side to side?
-
I sleep in the middle. But i face the right. [:D]
-
I sleep in the middle too - so I've got 1 each side of me [;)]

LOL,, Well you are a interesting fellow! LOL LOL!!
-
[:D]
-
LOL!
-
HAHA
-
I start in the middle to protect the inevitability that I will roll over in the middle of the night. many a times I have found myself on the edge of the top bunk. needless to say, I wake up pretty well when I notice that.
-
Yeah that is true. It I fall it is not going to hurt. I floor is always clean and I am only falling a foot or two. LoL.
-
Don't fall out of bed!
-
I usually sleep on the left hand side, I guess the only reason I do is that my desk with my alarm clock is on that side.
I usually settle down lying on my stomach, the right hand side of my face is always on the pillow and I usually put my arm under my pillow to give it extra height. I know I could use another pillow for that but it's more comfortable to use my arm.
I have two slim soft pillows and a bigger firmer one. I tend to go with the bigger firmer one [:D]
-
I always slept with my arm under my pillow too! but my left arm on my left side LOL!Can't get my arm up there anymore.. hopefully soon! I miss my pillow position! LOL
-
Often enough I wake up and find that I have a dead arm, really not that much fun, and yes, I have hit myself in the face while trying to move my arm [;)]
-
LOL LOL LOL!
-
i fall asleep on my arm, but very rarely wake up that way. i've been told that i'm all over the place when i sleep, but i don't find that to be true. the other side of the bed is usually still made when i wake up. that's the only side that's ever made. lol
-
LoL, when I wake up normally the blankets are on the floor and i had them tucked under the matress. LoL.

LOL oh yeah, I've woken up like that several times. Once I woke up with my head under my pillow with my duvet on top of the pillow and my butt in the air. Other times I've woken up lying across my bed and probably the best was waking up to find myself in the gap between my bed and the window [:D]
-
oh my! my ex once pushed me (in his sleep, not on purpose) into the space between the wall and the bed. i found his interesting stash of magazines when i woke up! from then on i slept on the outside edge of the bed. and the magazines were moved.
-
LOL I've had that done to me before, luckily I didn't find any magazines or anything else [;)]
See that's the problem though with having a bed close to the wall, you can get stuck down the side. I vote for falling out of bed rather than getting stuck [;)]
-
Good vote ! LOL
-
HAHA mine is by the wall and I never get stuck. LOL.
-
mine is in the middle of the room. i wasn't taking any chances when i moved here
-
I didn't really have a choice where I could put my bed. It had to go next to one wall or another [;)]
-
Oh...My sisters is by the wall with a 1 foot gap. I don't konw why, but if she falls off she might not get back up. lol.
-
my bedroom is enormous. actually my apartment is really big. and only three hundred forty nine dollars a month.
-
and the closet is the same size as my bathroom. this apartment is heaven. oh and it's in a good neighborhood!

-

A few thoughts occur to me.
Should we set up a poll for left / right / both/ whatever?
kdlyn, My whole 3 bedroom, 3 storey house costs about half as much again your appartment and in about 15 years I will own it outright.
I don't really know which side I sleep on; I will do some research on the matter later but, since I will be asleep, I might not remember the result.
Here's the weird one. From time to time I fall over when I'm awake- usually because I trip over something, but I never fall out of bed. How come I pay more attention to not falling when I'm asleep?
-
Poll could be ok..
That is a odd phenominum indeed!
-
sounds like a good deal bored chemist! i don't need a whole house though. and i don't want to live in ohio forever. so this is good for me! but congrats
