Title: How does fly spray kill?
Post by: snowdog on 16/08/2005 13:39:01
The domestic kind, I mean, that kills houseflies, bluebottles etc.

Sounds sadistic, I know, but does anyone know the mechanism by which it kills?

I think it's like nerve gas? Since it's harmful to humans too. There might be a kind that blocks up all the insects spiracles making the bug "suffocate" but this is probably less likely.

wOw the world spins?
