Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / How can we probe what's happening inside black holes?
« on: 12/09/2012 06:30:16 »
Some cool finding on Black Holes

  http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/features/news/news.html

Quote
( Astronomers using data from the European Space Agency's XMM-Newton satellite have found a long-sought X-ray signal from NGC 4151, a galaxy that contains a supermassive black hole. When the black hole's X-ray source flares, its accretion disk brightens about half an hour later. The discovery promises a new way to unravel what's happening in the neighborhood of these powerful objects. )

New Theories / The Photon as Pure Energy
« on: 10/09/2012 09:51:33 »
E2 = m2c4 + p2c2

So in the case of a photon, m=0 so E = pc or p = E/c.

a photon is basically pure energy, that it why it can go from particle to wave and visa versa..

 photon
The smallest (quantum) unit of light/electromagnetic energy. Photons are generally regarded as particles with zero mass and no electric charge.

New Theories / Time
« on: 08/09/2012 11:00:43 »
It might be plausible for a photon to be the carrier of progression, hence time.   After all, everything ceases to exist if there is no light ( photons ), likewise if time stopped, all ceases to exist also..

For light is everywhere, and everything is always expanding, growing, progressing, etc....

    E=MC2       so then         T=MC2

( Time is dependent on the mass/momentum of the observer and the observers speed in there frame of reference in relation to the speed of light squared )

  better  yet -  T2 = m2c4 + p2c2

  I could buy that..

New Theories / the "super verse"
« on: 03/09/2012 04:57:20 »
   An eternal and infinite universe.

  1)  size of space is infinite, and has always existed.
  2)  amount of matter available is finite, and is recycled.
  3)  Time ( progression, expansion, etc. ) by observation, Gravity, the nuclear and electrodynamic forces are eternal, as is energy, etc.
  4)  matter is 'recycled" through novas, black holes, mega novas, and giant black holes, to provide new elements.
  5)  matter has a finite "small" and "large" size.

as mega novas explode as a part of an already expanding universe, inside of the super verse, there is matter already present as the replacement universe is created.   This present matter, gets pushed out to the boundaries of the gravitational pull of the matter from the "big bang" caused by the explosion.  old matter is formed in ring around expansion of current matter, this outer ring of matter is currently causing the seemingly faster expansion as the expanding matter is coming into the gravitational pull of the outer sing of matter that formed here as the old universe was destroyed by the explosion.

the current cmwb reading are correct, but these readings are from the exploding mega nova.

mega nova's are very rare, and only form under conditions that either have too much or not enough of one particular element during the stars collapse, and this event causes the gravitational collapse to end up all matter condensing into a particle sized piece of matter, this particle then explodes as a "big bang", and these big bangs, though rare, do happen all over the "super verse"

Dark matter, and Dark energy are compatible in an eternal and infinite universe, but are not required.....

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / Most distant black hole 'heard' munching star
« on: 03/09/2012 04:47:36 »
http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn22133-most-distant-black-hole-heard-munching-star.html

The wobbles in energy produced as a black hole consumes a star have been detected from further away than ever before.

   I love black holes.....lol

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / Two dead stars provide low-tech way to test Einstein
« on: 03/09/2012 04:46:11 »
http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn22230-two-dead-stars-provide-lowtech-way-to-test-einstein.html

According to Einstein's general relativity – the leading theory of gravity – accelerating objects, like stars orbiting one another, should create gravitational waves. The heavier they are, and the faster they're moving, the more powerful those waves. Crucially, this loss of energy causes the two objects to orbit closer together, an effect that can be detected.

  another interesting story.....

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / Have 3 photons broken theoritical physics !!!!!!!!
« on: 02/09/2012 07:13:16 »
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/48863290/ns/technology_and_science-science/#.UEHZK6PNltM

In other words, the photons' near-simultaneous arrival indicates that space-time is smooth as Einstein suggested, rather than pixilated as modern theories require — at least down to slightly below the scale of the Planck length, a smaller scale than has ever been probed previously. The finding "comes close to proving (that space-time is smooth) for some range of parameters," Nemiroff said.

  very interesting....hmmm............

New Theories / Eternal Universe Theory
« on: 24/08/2012 08:12:37 »
I for one, do not believe in the big bang, and believe the universe to be "infinite" so it has no beginning or ending and no center, for it has no edges...eternal and infinite....the big bang that happened , is to me no more then exploding super dense black holes that take in matter, explode and recycle it, there by providing eternal supply's of matter to an eternal universe.....

  so , no center anywhere.......

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / Can a comet like Kohoutek use a planet's gravity to maintain its orbit?
« on: 17/08/2012 07:22:31 »
question.

the theory is that this comet and many others, use the gravity of the outer planets, and other objects in space to maintain its orbit around our sun.

My question is, assuming that all the bodies this comet uses for gravity are always moving, and odds are they are never in the same alignment each time comets such as these pass, yes they somehow maintain the same orbit around the sun.

how is this possible that it keeps the same orbit, yet the objects can not be in the exact position every time..

is there some "other; force keeping these types of long orbit comets in there orbits ?

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / What existed before the big bang for the matter to expand into?
« on: 17/08/2012 06:13:40 »
I have a question.

what existed here before the big bang, in order for all of the matter to expand into ?

in other words, how could the big bang and expansion of happened inside of "nothing", it seems that "something" had to of existed before the big bang, if only for a place for what banged to be inside of, I mean in order to have an explosion, do you not have to have conditions that allow that explosion to happen in the first place ?

if anything, does not any explosion require certain elements to even take place ?

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / some questions for research for a theory about observation affecting space/time.
« on: 16/08/2012 09:48:11 »
1) can your brain, or any brain produce thoughts faster then the speed of light, or close to it ?

2) speed of my eyes focusing on something ? in other words, the speed of sight ?

3) the speed of the brain processing information that I do "see" ?

4)  at what speed does 'time dilation" occur ?

any help is appreciated, for a theory about observation affecting space/time

Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / If all the particles in a body ceased to vibrate, would it cease to exist?
« on: 15/08/2012 09:11:01 »
if I took an object, say a marble for example.

And if I somehow "could" cause every single one of the atoms in that marble to "stop" vibrating.

would the marble, cease to exist  ?

in a black hole, time stops, hence vibration stops.

and, if said object ceases to exist, could that be happening in  black holes, solving the singularity problem ?

if the matter is reduced to its sub atomic particles, it could store almost limitless amounts of matter, not infinite, but if you consider all the matter in the universe does not take up too much space, so to speak, it seems infinite.

New Theories / Big Bang
« on: 09/08/2012 10:19:45 »
It seems to me that if there was a big bang, which I believe did happen. Then it would seem that there had to be something for the matter to "bang" into. Something had to of existed for everything to expand into ?

I propose that our universe has always existed as well matter and energy also has always existed, and that the big bang was caused by a super powerful exploding black hole, that had condensed all of the matter that it had taken in, and that it's limit to hold matter was not infinite, but finite. and that when that limit was reached it exploded out all of the matter that it had taken in. And that this happens all of the time throughout our "infinite" universe, creating patches of matter throughout the universe, and only our part is expanding due to an explosion at our start, and very far distant areas of the universe, are expanding according to there particular exploding black hole in there area, and other areas would be so called dead zones, free of most matter, except that drifting through space. This might help explain gravitational anomalies that exist, and the universe being infinite, our visible expansion may be expanding "faster" as it grows because it has been affected by the gravity of a near by matter field beyond our sight. If the universe was infinite, then for example the age of us, is only the age when our black hole exploded, or maybe something else exploded.

it might help explain - dark flow    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_flow

Dark flow: Surveys of galaxy motions have detected a mystery dark flow towards an unseen mass. Such a large mass is too large to have accumulated since the Big Bang using current models and may indicate that gravity falls off slower than inverse-squared at certain distance scales.

Is a universe that has always existed and is infinite, that creates so to speak pockets of matter throughout, mathematically possible ?

Plant Sciences, Zoology & Evolution / How does coevolution occur?
« on: 02/08/2012 08:19:00 »
Hummingbirds and ornithophilous (bird-pollinated) flowers have evolved a mutualistic relationship. The flowers have nectar suited to the birds' diet, their color suits the birds' vision and their shape fits that of the birds' bills. The blooming times of the flowers have also been found to coincide with hummingbirds' breeding seasons.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coevolution

the question that I have, is that according to most scientists, and most people, plants do not exhibit intelligence ( so to speak ), I believe all life has some level of "intelligence".  And how I support that hypothesis, is by asking this question.

in order for any flower to evolve any of the qualities listed above.

would not said flower have to "know" that a humming bird existed in the first place ?

and then, have to "know" what a hummingbird liked ?

just wondering about the opinions on this matter.

New Theories / Explanation for belief in Reincarnation, might be distant memories ?
« on: 25/07/2012 06:39:49 »
Reincarnation

What IF ?........... ( and I will keep this as simple as possible, and stick to basics )

okay we all know that our neurons take our memories and store them within certain membranes and that the memories become a part of our sub-conscious memory. We also know that certain cells within our bodies have the ability to change ( add/subtract ) the coding within the DNA to make small or large modification to the coding of the DNA to bring about certain results that can be passed down to the next generation for either an evolutionary success or failure. We also know that our conscious mind can pull memories out of our subconscious minds and 'relive" them so to speak, and that under hypnosis a lot more memories are able to be accessed ( although hypnosis is not accepted by all members of the scientific community ) but we can at least agree that we can store and retrieve memories and change the coding of our DNA to start evolutionary changes for future generations.

Let us just say that one of your distant ancestors thousands of years ago was walking along a river somewhere in Europe, Africa, South America, Asia, the Middle East, Wherever your from. And it starts to storm, there's high winds, thunder, lightning, and it is pouring rain. They start to head towards home, when all of a sudden there hair stands up on the back of there neck, there is a strange feeling in the air, then all of a sudden they are hit by a bolt of lightning. Hours later they awake from unconscious badly burned, and shaken, but alive, and strangely there joints are constantly sore now. .

* Most lightning strikes occur either at the beginning or the end of a storm. * Average lightning strike is 6 miles long. * Lightning reaches 50,000 degrees farenheit, 4 times as hot as the sun's surface. * A cloud to ground lightning channel can be 2-10 miles long. * Voltage in a cloud to ground strike is 100 million to one billion volts. * 20% of all lightning victims die from the strike. * 70% of survivers will suffer serious long-term affects.

Now this would be a memory that this person would NEVER forget, and say that your cells and neurons decided this too and encoded this memory not only into the sub-conscious memory banks, but also into the DNA coding itself so that future generations who read this part of the genetic code would basically (replay ) this memory and understand the coding ( ex. lightning - very bad - but can live - still bad ) , I know this is simple but hey .

Say last week you were out playing golf, and it started to storm so you decided to head back to the club house. As your heading back, you feel something strange and all of a sudden a bolt of lighting hit a tree 50 feet from you on the edge of the rough, the sound, the flash, the smell, fire and everything would of been quite an experience. Your neurons go to store this memory within your sub-conscious memory banks, and when they go to store it, they come across this other code and read it and determine this is important information. While you are sleeping your neurons "replay" this memory and you wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat.

You could swear you were just standing along this river in some vast wilderness with no signs of anyone or any technology around, no lights, no cities, and your wearing furs ? You relive this memory until you are struck by lightning and awake from this dream. But you start thinking, you could smell the air, you could hear the thunder, you were wet, everything was real to you. You can only come to one conclusion, you were here before, you know you were, this was not any ordinary dream, you were there ! you felt it, never was any dream like this one, you were 100 % convinced it was real, because the memory was real... So you now believe you have been been here before, there for - you must of have been reincarnated...you were someone else before....and the myth begins...

Just a Thought..
