just for fun, since we have a few months to "rassle".
I am putting my money on T, mainly because the dems have no viable opposition candidate.
(ok...I know I am almost certainly going to be asked "why?"
...so my response (in the spirit of the thread) is:
because he may be an asshole; but he is OUR asshole
)

One interesting possibility for a Democrat "viable opposition candidate" would be Hillary.
All she needs is a picture of Ivanka next to the Republican propaganda from the last election.

Hillary is burned out...not enough potential to attract the money necessary to provide an assault against the powerhouse of the Trump defense.

Trump's also not what he was.
The cracks are showing as people realise he's not "drained the swamp" or "made America great again".
He can't make good on any of his promises like those.
It may not need a good Democratic candidate to defeat him.
The irony is amusing there.
He won because he claimed he would change politics, and people wanted change.
If they still want change, and they should, then anyone should beat him.

excellent response, and points well made.
he has failed in many of his promisses (such as making Mexico pay for "the wall".)
therefor, who do you feel might be most likely to defeat him?

I think that no matter what, I won't be voting for the Orange Duffus at all! I am certain someone will fill the ticket in the democratic box. Thinking of Beto O'Rourke as one possible Canidate…. Hopefully among others.
