Title: Magnetic Generator
Post by: Kauffmann on 26/11/2014 08:13:51
Well, there has been a fuzz on the internet, like for the past 5 years, about some "free energy" magnetic generator. I was skeptical at first, but seeing just how many videos are now floating around claiming it to work, kinda casts me doubt (of course it would only mean that magnets have far more energy than initially thought, not perpetual motion).

Here's an example:
To my phycisist pals, you see any degree of reality? Or just a plain scam?

It's been around for many decades. It's a major scam. It takes the homopolar generator and misinterprets its operation.

If anyone ever manages to generate energy for nothing, he certainly won't tell you how. For two reasons (a) if it really works, he can acquire all the goods and powers in the world, and even create a new universe, with no investment, as long as there is no competition and (b) perpetual motion machines cannot be patented.

That one is pure scam : it's not the magnet in his hand that's causing the fan with the button magnets attached to spin, it is being made to spin via a similar fan+magnet(s) under the table which has an electricity supply.

The visible fan may or may not be powering the bulb , I'd go with the latter as the bulb is sufficiently big to contain a battery, like these "magic" ones  ...
