one of the classic methods to identify a gene in any leaving organism is to read about other leaving organism which is close to the first in taxonomy and then make all the molecular work to find out if that gene does exist in the studied organism but I wonder if there is an other methods to find a gene of interest so what do I need to identify a gene of interest?
