Title: Does epigenetics dictate our preferences?
Post by: thedoc on 11/12/2012 18:53:38
Epigenetic changes and preferences - so why you like things and why you don’t - could it be that when you like something when you're older, but don’t like it when you're younger, could some of these preferences be – and that’s obviously a slightly simplified thing, but could it be that part of our changing behaviour or the way we age could be down to epigenetic programming?”

We answered this question on the show...

Stefanie -   Yeah, so epigenetics is a very important factor in ageing and that’s something that’s become more and more clear in recent years.  Specific traits or likes or dislikes, I don’t know how much that is down to epigenetics, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case.
