Title: Pain is Not Beneath the skin, it's IN the skin
Post by: Daniel Laberge on 17/09/2006 22:57:50
Hi to all,
next time it hurts, try exploring your skin with your nail and see what you find.
This is called grooming.
Grooming is the action of unfolding your skin with your nails.
Your skin is folded and refolded millions of times, yet most folds are invisible.
Primates have flat nails that are specifically designed to feel and open these folds.
Science was wrong about the location of most pain.
Grooming proves its source is not below the skin but in the folds of the skin itself.
Most headaches, backaches, pain in the feet, knees, hips, neck, articulations, etc. are due to a lack of grooming.
As you age, the folding increases and causes several known illnesses and disabilities depending on its location.
You face is about six times more folded than elsewhere.
These folds have made you ugly.
They are responsible for your facial traits.
Grooming is 100% natural and free

But, I thought pain doesn't actually exist in your skin, or body at all. Didn't Science prove at some point that ALL pain, and that ALL feelings are all EXCLUSIVELY in the BRAIN? That the Brain is the TRUE Source of ALL feelings, and of ALL Pain?

That's true. If you cut off the neural connection between the damaged part of your body and your brain, you won't feel the pain. It is the brain who interpret incoming electrochemical signals as pain or other feelings.

You face is about six times more folded than elsewhere.
If that was true (spoiler alert; it isn't) then it would also be 6 times more painful.
But it isn't. So we know you are wrong.
Certainly not worth reopening a thread years later.

Sorry about that. I was the one who ended up reopening it. I thought the date said 2020. It was actually 2008, or something.
