I would have thought Earth is gaining mass due to meteorites landing on Earth.

How can it be measured. One way is to measure (with a tape measure) the diameter of Earth, and then its circumference. This isn't practical of course since you can't pass a tape measure through Earth, and it is hard to line up if held off to the side, but if you did, the circumference would definitely be less than the diameter * π. This can only be explained with non-Euclidean spacetime, and is quantified precisely by Einstein's field equations.
The difference isn't much with Earth, but it is for more massive things like neutron stars.
Not sure what is implied here, but the 0.6 V I quoted is from a course specification, so if it were an exam question then a student would be expected to know the starting pd for a diode.Firstly, the usual rule for exam questions is that if you aren’t given information, it’s because you aren’t expected to use it.It's my experience if you are not given complete information in exams, you can use an assumption, providing you reason your assumption. Just take it as 0.1v drop.
I can understand why people believe in a God because everything looks designed, but there is no evidence for one. And if there is a God then he/she must have come from somewhere, be made of something etc.No point researching how everything came from nothing
We could just be a computer program, on some kid's computer that he has forgot about. Wouldn't that be sad, everything we are is just the resort of some kid's science project. Not that i believe that.
What bothers me is there seems to be reluctance from scientists to discuss and research how everything came from nothing. It is the most fundamental aspect of science.
You are implying the laws of Physics, which is how God makes things work, whether it be an electron orbiting the nuclues of an atom or the roots taking up mineral ions. When we think the way the Universe works; the fundamental constants; the way Science works. There must be a God.
Why? We ask why is that constant just so and this constant just so in order for us to exist? Why shouldn't it be just so? The sky looks blue. Why is the atmosphere constituted from molecules that scatter light in such a way that the sky looks blue? If it wasn't just so the sky may be red. So what? Such arguments are nonsense and show the immaturity of our species.
