Does being a good parent shorten your lifespan? It turns out the answer is yes, at least if you’re a burying beetle. Results from researchers at The University of Cambridge published this week show that beetles can sacrifice their own fitness for the good of their offspring. Rosalind Davies went to speak to Professor Rebecca Kilner to find out more.
