Title: Aspartame - any link with sinus problems?

I've always tried to avoid aspartame for my children - don't give them diet drinks etc, but I often drink them, and use other diet products. Since being on a diet on and off for the past 3 years (!) I've suffered from sinusitis.  The last 3 months have been the worst, and I have been drinking a lot of diet drinks.  Since cutting them out a few days ago I haven't had an attack.  Coincidence, or does anyone know of a link?  Have googled this, but not had much success.  thanks clever people.
